CEFI Profile |
Community Enterprise Forum International CEFI is a not for profit, membership based organisation founded in India. CEFIs mandate is to promulgate, establish and promote sustainable community enterprises as an effective vehicle for livelihood security and poverty alleviation. CEFI worked for the first three years of its inception as a nerve centre for a group of civil society organisations, experimenting on its understanding and developing evidences for its vision and assumptions. In this effort it was supported by its founding partners, who worked on implementing community enterprise oriented projects on a pilot basis to provide validity to CEFI's mode of action, i.e to evolve enterprise models centered around community initiatives (Community Enterprises). |
